Retail Math
eLearning Course
I made this course to teach the financial math that retail teams rely on every day, such as gross margin and markdown percentages. Learners get voiceovers, animations, video interviews, and interactive math problems, including a practice area that generates an endless supply of problems to work through.
My Contributions
I built about 75 percent of this course on my own. I wrote the script, recorded and produced the voiceovers, animated the graphics in Storyline, and created the artwork in Adobe Illustrator. I also wrote JavaScript to generate the math problems on the fly and shaped the overall course flow in Storyline.
Tools Used
Articulate Storyline is the primary tool used to develop this course. I additionally used Adobe Illustrator, Audition, and Premiere to produce the graphics, audio, and video.
